I'm giving a final shortly after the telecon starts, so I will have to
pass.
I have preliminary reductions from the IR observing run with Flamingos
on
the KPNO 4-meter. The run went very well, good quality J&K imaging on
10 extended X-ray (ROSAT), I-band faint targets. There are 2-3
intriguing clusters,
at 14-16 hours RA, but I haven't been able to quantify them well
enough, not
at least to say "Hold the presses!" They are not visible in 2-gyro
mode until
early next spring, if the early-morning (daylight?) rule of thumb is
the right one
to use. I will create better versions and share with Piero Rosati and
Marc Postman (also on the ROX team) so they can make an assessment. My
gut feeling is that they may be similar to or somewhat fainter than the
clusters
on your nominal list.
