Hi All,
We will be asking for some NICMOS orbits to schedule as target of
oppurtunity for high z SNe (probably around 20 orbits?). These NICMOS
visits leave the option of scheduling parallel observations with ACS,
effectively sampling a random area of sky offset from the SN target by
about 8 arcminutes. We did not schedule any parallel observations in
cycle 14, does anyone have a strong opinion that we should ask for these
parallels in the current proposal? At LBL, we prefer not to request
parallels as it simplifies observations and keeps the proposal concise.
